Product Description:
The 11BRCT-300-P95D-01 is a brushless resolver manufactured by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Resolvers series. This electromechanical transducer couples to a motor shaft and converts the mechanical angle into a pair of sinusoidal reference signals for closed-loop servo and vector-drive systems in industrial automation. When paired with a compatible drive or motion controller, the unit supplies absolute rotor position feedback without the temperature drift and quantization that affect digital encoders, making it suitable for harsh-duty environments such as presses, extruders, and material-handling axes.
During excitation, the primary stator winding accepts an RMS voltage of 12.0 Vrms at 2500 Hz, drawing only 1.4 mA of sinusoidal current, so heat generation inside the resolver is minimal and a simple excitation channel on the drive electronics is sufficient. The secondary windings provide a transformation ratio of 0.39, meaning each output amplitude is 39% of the reference voltage, which simplifies gain scaling inside the signal processor. At alignment, the differential output falls to a null voltage of 15 mV, a small residual that marks the electrical zero and allows tight monotonicity around the index point.
The design introduces a fixed electrical phase shift of -7° between the input and output, providing a predictable lead that controllers can compensate for through software. Thermal endurance reaches 125 °C, allowing the resolver to operate inside motor housings where winding temperatures rise well above the ambient temperature. Classification as a five-speed device indicates that the rotor has five pole pairs, producing five electrical cycles per mechanical revolution and increasing resolution for slow-speed positioning. Because the primary winding is on the stator, rotor inertia remains low, which reduces the dynamic load on the drive train and enables quick acceleration profiles.
