The HS35R0900432E Dynapar Encoder belongs to the HA725 Dynapar™ series produced by Danaher. The encoder uses a direct-read incremental optical design in an incremental configuration which delivers accurate high-resolution performance. The hardware settings configure this device at a resolution of 9000 PPR within an operational range from 8192 up to 10,000 PPR.
The HS35R0900432E Dynapar encoder reaches high accuracy rates through ±10.8° per pulse per revolution on the same channel and manifests to approximately ±3.9 arc-seconds at 10,000 PPR. The accuracy of the opposite channel stands at ±40° per pulse per revolution translating to ±14 arc-seconds during operation at the same resolution. Users can obtain signal outputs from this system in a two-channel quadrature (AB) format with an optional Index (Z) signal capability. A push-pull mode or line driver mode operation requires a power supply of 10–30 VDC to support a maximum of 60 mA power usage. Short-circuit protection exists at the output stage of the push-pull system which supports operating currents between ±30 mA. The line driver system has a current output capacity of ±20 mA. The encoder device operates at high frequencies because it has at least 200 kHz response-ability for push-pull mode and 300 kHz response capability for line driver mode.
The HS35R0900432E Dynapar encoder operates within an industrial range of temperature between 0°C and +70°C. The device maintains its durability by having enclosure protection which fulfills both NEMA4 and IP66 requirements for preventing water and dust ingress. The component features a shaft dimension of 3/8 inch with rotary speed potential reaching 10,000 RPM. The line driver mode needs 5 VDC ±10% power while drawing a maximum of 40 mA of current. This device supports radial loading to 35 lbs combined with axial loading of 24 lbs.
