The HD25200240G10 is part of Danaher’s top-rated Dynapar Encoders series. It features an incremental and optical design that shows precise motion detection. It offers a resolution of 1 to 2540 PPR (pulses per revolution). This range provides flexible precision for varied applications. The encoder utilizes a two channel quadrature (AB) output with optional Index (Z) and complementary outputs. It also employs Channel A leading B for counter-clockwise shaft rotation and the configuration maintains unambiguous directional signal interpretation.
The device provides quadrature phasing at approximately 90± electrical tolerance and secures stable phase alignment. It generates square wave signals with rise/fall times under 1 μs into a 1000 pF load. The module operates on typically 5 to 26 VDC with current consumption around 80–100 mA. This versatility simplifies interfacing and it achieves a frequency response of at least 100 kHz with index channels supporting about 75 kHz. The drive reaches a maximum shaft speed of up to 10,000 RPM for lower resolution configurations and about 5,000 RPM for resolutions above 1024 PPR.
The HD25200240G10 handles shaft loading with axial loads from 40 up to 80 lbs. and similar radial loads. This capacity supports robust mechanical applications. Further, it provides a starting torque ranging from approximately 1.0 oz-in (without shaft seal) to 2.0 oz-in (with shaft seal) at 25C, ensuring dependable startup performance. It operates over a temperature range from 0C to +70C, extendable to +85C. This range enables use in diverse thermal environments which helps it to withstand storage temperatures from –40C to 90C. The encoder is IP67 rated for enhanced environmental protection. This protection rating secures resilience against dust and water. It also features an M12 circular connector for secure connections.
