The E14100002304 by Danaher functions as an incremental optical encoder made for industrial automation for precise measurements. The encoder provides two-channel quadrature outputs as (A and B) along with an optional Index (Z) signal. The E14100002304 encoder enables operation from 8192 to 10,000 pulses during each revolution. Same-channel accuracy measures ±10.8° per PPR, whereas the opposite-channel accuracy amounts to ±40° per PPR at 10,000 PPR. The encoder produces squarewave outputs that generate rise and fall times less than one microsecond. It measures into a 1000 pF load. Each push-pull output model accepts power between 10 to 30 VDC. The encoder drains less than 60 mA of current. The E14100002304 encoder upholds an IP66 rating.
