The encoder provides precise feedback at various resolutions up to 14 bits single turn and 12 bits multi-turn to meet extensive application requirements. The AI2512120092F proves its reliability through exact mechanical movement readings within a range of 36 arc-seconds at absolute accuracy of ±0.01degrees and repeatable shifts of 7.2 arc-seconds at ±0.002degrees. The device works with power input ranges from 10 to 30 VDC and needs only 220 mA for single-turn operation and 250 mA for multi-turn operations to perform well and handle energy smartly. This model offers expandable interface options that work with Profibus-DP or DeviceNet, while onboard diagnostic tools help users find and correct performance issues. The encoder system fits different mechanical systems through its ability to support three shaft diameter choices: 6 mm Servo Mount, 10 mm Clamping Mount, and 3/8 inch Square Flange Mount.
The unit runs at 10,000 RPM without interruption but reaches 12,000 RPM peak speed during operation.
