This Danaher product is one of a kind as it minimizes cumulative errors and provide high precision in industrial automated systems. With a resolution close to 10-14 Bit per single turn, the rotational measurements in compact systems are enhanced in resolution and fine incremental features are given that are essential for accurate monitoring. The multi turn resolution is 12 bit and accurately tracks multiple rotations delivering consistent performances.
It guarantees precise positioning and reduces the measurement error having an absolute accuracy of ±0.01° mechanical (36 arc-sec). Its mechanical repeatability (7.2 arc sec) of ±0.002° is sufficient for the consistent performance and reliable repeated measurement. This unit is a Profibus-DP and encoder profile interface that offers robust digital communication. The input power range is 10-30 VDC, allowing the module to operate with a flexible energy supply. It has an intrinsic current consumption of 220 mA on standard turn and 250 mA on multi turn.
