The Danaher 1400419-0015 cable is part of the Dynapar Encoder Cables series and has a length of 15 feet. It features a 10-pin MS female connector on the encoder side, 8 lead wires, and flying leads at the non-encoder end. The cable uses 24 AWG wire rated for up to 80 degrees Celsius and supports full differential output.
Internal Product Review
The 1400419-0015 is a Dynapar encoder cable with an MS female encoder-side connector and flying leads on the non-encoder end. Full differential output and 24 AWG conductors support clean signal transmission and dependable terminations in motion-control installations. Practical cable length and a +80C wire rating make the assembly a strong choice for encoder feedback wiring.

Product Description:
The 1400419-0015 is an encoder signal cable produced by Danaher for the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. It serves as the link between a rotating feedback device and the motion controller, carrying balanced incremental or absolute position data through industrial environments that are prone to electrical noise. Built specifically for motion-control loops rather than general instrumentation, the assembly streamlines installation while preserving encoder resolution during continuous machine operation.
To reach across large machine frames, the cable is supplied in a 15 ft length, providing slack for strain relief without excessive coiling. The encoder end is fitted with a female MS connector; this metal circular interface threads into its mating half, with the shell providing full 360-degree shielding against electromagnetic interference. Within that connector are 8 leads, so separate contacts can be assigned to the A, B, and Z channels, their complements, power, and return. Each twisted pair carries a fully differential signal, allowing the drive to reject common-mode interference. The conductors are sized at 24 AWG, balancing flexibility with acceptable voltage drop and current capacity over the stated cable length.
Termination on the controller side is simplified by flying leads, enabling direct insertion into screw terminals, crimp blocks, or custom harnesses without a second factory connector. The mating plug at the encoder provides 10 pins, allowing the contacts to accommodate the connected conductors and shield arrangement. The harness contains 9 total conductors, supporting the required signal, power, and return paths between the encoder and controller. All insulation materials are rated for temperatures up to +80 °C, maintaining dielectric integrity when the cable is routed near motors, drives, or other heat-generating equipment.
