Product Description:
The 1400334-0025 is an encoder interface cable produced by Danaher for the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. It serves as the dedicated harness that routes power and position feedback from a flange-mounted encoder to drive controllers or PLC input cards in automated machinery. By integrating a keyed circular connector on the sensor side and prefinished conductors on the control-cabinet side, the cable simplifies installation and preserves signal reliability over the moderate distances typical of packaging lines, conveyor stations, and indexing tables.
At the encoder end, the cable terminates in a female MS connector that mates directly with standard Dynapar sensor ports. Signal conductors are organized as 3 leads, so the assembly supports single-channel outputs such as an index pulse or commutation reference without extra cores. Each conductor uses stranded copper sized at 22 AWG, balancing flexibility with low resistance for clean square-wave reproduction. The overall length is 25 ft, providing sufficient reach for routing along machine frames without excess slack. A braided shield and foil wrap make the cable shielded, reducing electromagnetic interference from nearby inverters, contactors, and motor buses.
The control-cabinet side is supplied with flying leads, allowing the conductors to terminate at screw terminals, solder pads, or field-crimped connectors according to local wiring requirements. Internally, the circular plug carries 3 pins, making pinout verification straightforward during installation. The cable supports encoders with a current-sink/open-collector output stage, and its conductors and shielding accommodate the associated pull-up and switching currents. A PVC jacket with a maximum continuous service temperature of +75 °C withstands ambient heat inside closed electrical enclosures. The jacket also maintains insulation integrity when exposed to oils and cutting fluids commonly found on plant floors.
