Internal Product Review
The 112123-0005 is a Danaher Dynapar encoder cable with shielded construction and a female MS encoder-side connector. Differential line driver support and flying-lead termination make integration clean and dependable in encoder feedback circuits. Stripped-and-tinned leads further improve field wiring quality, making the cable a very practical connection solution.

Product Description:
The 112123-0005 is an interface cable assembled by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. It is intended to connect a shaft encoder to a drive or PLC input, carrying incremental A and B channels together with power lines over short or routed machine runs. By matching the electrical format of typical differential-driver encoders, the product helps maintain consistent feedback and minimize electromagnetic interference in packaging, conveying, and general motion-control installations.
Signal integrity is supported by a shielded construction that encloses the twisted pairs in a drain-wire braid to suppress external coupling. At the encoder end, an MS connector with female contacts mates directly with many Dynapar housings and locks with a threaded collar for vibration resistance. The core bundle carries 6 conductors, each color-coded, and terminates on the controller side as flying leads, allowing the wires to connect to screw terminals, spring terminals, or terminal blocks. Those leads are supplied stripped and tinned, so solder or clamp pressure can create a low-resistance joint without additional wire preparation. The threaded connector and prepared leads support secure attachment at both ends of the cable while accommodating different controller-side connection arrangements.
Electrical performance is supported by a differential line driver signaling scheme that carries complementary A and B waveforms. This bipolar format improves common-mode rejection when the cable is routed next to motor power conductors or other potential sources of electrical noise. Copper strands sized at 22/24 AWG balance voltage-drop control with cable flexibility, supporting typical 100 mA encoder loads over several meters. The assembly provides no index output, so the six-pin insert carries the two quadrature channels and their complementary returns along with the required supply lines. The shielding surrounds the signal conductors to reduce coupled interference throughout the cable run without limiting the flexibility needed for routed machine installations.
