Product Description:
The 112077-0015 cable assembly is manufactured by Danaher for the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. It provides a dedicated connection between a rotary position sensor and a drive or PLC, carrying incremental and absolute feedback signals for closed-loop motion control. The assembly combines an encoder-side connector with unterminated control wires that can be routed directly into an electrical enclosure. This arrangement supports installation in conveyors, packaging stations, and automated material-handling axes where the encoder and control equipment are mounted separately.
The cable has an overall length of 15 ft, allowing the encoder to be installed on moving equipment while the drive electronics remain inside a protected cabinet. It is compatible with the 14-bit AI25 Absolute encoder family, providing the required pin arrangement and signal connections for that encoder type. The connector uses a side-mount configuration on the transducer body, which keeps the mating shell positioned along the encoder’s radial profile. Electrical contacts are housed in a circular, keyed interface with a 19-pin pattern. The keyed design helps prevent incorrect connector alignment, while the available contacts accommodate power, data, and shield circuits within the same interface.
The control end has factory-stripped flying leads that can connect to terminal blocks, solder cups, or spring clamps without an additional connector kit. At the encoder end, a threaded and latched female MS bayonet coupling provides a secure connection that resists loosening under vibration. The cable contains eight twisted pairs plus three single conductors, providing nineteen conductors for the required feedback, power, and auxiliary circuits. Its conductors use 24 AWG stranded copper, balancing flexibility with resistance to voltage drop over the cable length. Twisted pairs help reduce coupled electrical noise between signal paths, while the separate conductors accommodate circuits that do not require differential pairing. The jacket encloses the conductor groups and shield components so the assembly can be routed through machine frames, cable supports, and control cabinets without exposing the internal wiring.
