Product Description:
The 112077-0005 cable assembly is produced by Danaher within the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. It serves as the interface between a rotary encoder and the receiving control hardware in industrial automation, where incremental or absolute position data must travel without signal loss. The part routes individual conductors from the encoder connector to the cabinet termination area, allowing motion controllers, PLC input cards, or drive amplifiers to read feedback reliably while maintaining shield integrity and the pin order used by the corresponding Dynapar sensing hardware. The molded jacket protects the twisted pairs against electromagnetic interference from nearby drives and contactors, supporting consistent position feedback in high-noise environments.
At the encoder end, the harness terminates in a female MS bayonet connector with a 19-pin contact arrangement that matches Dynapar resolver and encoder families supporting up to 14-bit resolution. The shell has a side-mount orientation, so the mating receptacle sits flush against the encoder body without additional adapters. On the opposite end, the conductors are left as flying leads, allowing each wire to connect to screw terminals, solder cups, or plug-in headers according to the panel design. This arrangement supports direct point-to-point wiring where the receiving hardware does not use a circular cable connector.
Each conductor inside the jacket is made from 24 AWG stranded copper, balancing current capacity with routing flexibility. The overall assembly remains functional from -20 °C to +80 °C, covering typical machine-room and cabinet temperatures. A mating connector is supplied with the product, eliminating the need to source a separate plug for the corresponding connection. The cable contains 19 leads, aligning one lead with each pin to preserve the intended signal paths and avoid unused conductors. This one-to-one arrangement also helps maintain consistent wiring across differential or parallel data channels while keeping individual feedback and control signals properly separated.
