Product Description:
The 112076-0020 is an encoder interconnect manufactured by Danaher within the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. Designed for machine-tool and material-handling axes, the cable links an absolute shaft or linear sensor to its drive or PLC so position data travels reliably through dynamic cable tracks. Its construction mates directly with the encoder housing at one end while presenting stripped conductors at the opposite end, creating a ready-made path for feedback power, data, and reference signals in industrial automation systems.
On the encoder side, the harness terminates in an MS bayonet female plug, a quick-lock connector that resists vibration yet releases without special tools for service. The interface is keyed for absolute devices that output synchronous serial data with a resolution of up to 13 bits, allowing every rotation or linear increment to be divided into 8,192 discrete steps. At the field end, the jacket is opened to expose color-coded flying leads, allowing each conductor to be connected to a suitable terminal block or solder point. Each stranded copper core is sized at 24 AWG, balancing flexibility with the current-carrying capacity required for encoder power and signal pairs.
The harness carries 19 leads from end to end, matching the 19 pins wired inside the mating receptacle and passing differential channels, supply rails, and spare conductors without doubling grounds. An included mating connector provides the controller-side counterpart without requiring separate hardware, while the cable supports side-mount routing along machine frames or inside drag chains where vertical clearance is limited. Pin-for-pin continuity helps protect signal integrity when the encoder electronics are positioned away from the drive cabinet, while the flexible conductor arrangement supports movement through industrial cable-management systems.
