Product Description:
The 111752-0001 is a cable assembly produced by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. The assembly connects compatible Dynapar encoders to drive or PLC input modules, carrying differential or single-ended position pulses while maintaining signal integrity over short in-cabinet runs. Its sensor-side connector provides a secure mating interface, while the controller-side termination supports direct connection to control hardware. This arrangement reduces wiring errors in automated machinery and provides an organized connection between the encoder and its receiving module. The cable carries position feedback for motion axes, helping the controller maintain consistent timing between encoder transitions and drive sampling.
As a cable assembly, the product includes conductors that are already cut, stripped, and terminated, eliminating the need for manual crimping. Its overall length is 1 ft, making it suitable for encoder terminations inside a cabinet where excess slack could obstruct airflow or complicate wire routing. Each conductor is made from 26 AWG stranded copper, which provides flexibility and sufficient current capacity for TTL or RS-422 encoder outputs. The harness has a shielded design that reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference, which can distort pulse edges or cause unreliable position feedback. On the encoder end, a two-row plug provides a 16-pin connection for the A, B, and Z channels, complementary signals, and auxiliary power lines.
The harness is compatible with Dynapar encoders based on the F14/F18 platforms, allowing the mating connector to attach without a custom adapter. The plug uses a double-row 2 x 2 mm housing, arranging the signal contacts in two compact columns for use with narrow encoder backshells. On the controller side, the conductors terminate as flying leads, allowing each wire to connect directly to terminal blocks, IDC headers, or custom input cards. The cable supports incremental signals, and its conductor arrangement is intended for high-frequency square waves rather than absolute serial communication. Appropriate routing and grounding help the shield limit noise from nearby motor cables, switching devices, and other sources of electrical interference within the cabinet.
