The Danaher 108596-0015 is a cable from the Dynapar Encoder Cables series with a length of 15 feet. It is compatible with H20 and HS35 encoders, uses a 7-pin MS female connector on the encoder side, and features 7 flying leads for non-encoder termination. The cable carries differential line driver signals and uses 22AWG and 24AWG wires.

Product Description:
The 108596-0015 feedback assembly is supplied by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. It serves as an interconnect between rotary encoders and drive electronics in automated machinery, carrying incremental position signals from the sensing head to the control cabinet. Continuous shielding helps protect the feedback signals from electromagnetic interference generated by motors, switching devices, and nearby power cables. The assembly follows the pin arrangement used by compatible encoder families, allowing the encoder and controller to be connected without custom crimping or field soldering.
The encoder end terminates in a female MS connector that mates directly with Dynapar H20 and HS35 encoder housings. Its keyed shell prevents incorrect insertion, while corrosion-resistant contacts help maintain a stable electrical connection during operation. The jacket contains seven color-coded conductors for the incremental feedback channels, driver supply, and common reference, with a surrounding braid providing signal shielding. A 15-foot length accommodates typical distances between the encoder and a panel-mounted controller without adding unnecessary cable to the machine. The feedback signals use a differential line driver format, which allows compatible drive inputs to reject common-mode electrical noise. This signaling method is well suited to industrial equipment where high-current motor wiring and switching circuits may run near the feedback cable.
The controller end is finished with flying leads, allowing each conductor to connect directly to terminal blocks, headers, or screw-clamp drive terminals. This termination style supports control devices with different terminal arrangements and allows the conductors to be routed individually inside an enclosure. A mating plug for the encoder connector is included, so a separate connector does not need to be obtained for the encoder-side connection. The conductor set combines 22 AWG and 24 AWG wire sizes, balancing current capacity for the driver supply with the flexibility needed for confined cable routes. The seven-pin insert corresponds to the available lead set and avoids unused filler positions inside the connector body. Proper termination of the shield and common reference helps preserve signal integrity across the full cable length.
