Product Description:
Danaher supplies the 108595-0025 as a flexible interconnect in the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. Designed to link rotary or linear encoders to motion drives, the model routes power and signal conductors between the sensing element and the control cabinet without requiring additional conditioning electronics. Within industrial automation loops, the cable helps preserve differential accuracy by matching the impedance and mechanical profile expected by Dynapar transducers. It is intended for static routing in machine frames or installation in energy chains where encoder wiring must remain organized and protected.
The assembly has a fixed length of 25 ft, providing enough reach for many motor-to-panel runs without excessive slack. Signal integrity is maintained by stranded conductors sized at 22 AWG / 24 AWG, which support the current requirements of incremental encoder channels while keeping the bundle flexible. On the encoder side, the cable terminates in a female MS connector with seven positions. The keyed circular shell presents the power, index, and quadrature connections while helping the connector resist vibration. The opposite end has flying leads, allowing direct connection to screw terminals or solder cups inside the drive enclosure. A factory-crimped backshell is supplied with an included mating accessory, so a separate plug is not required for installation.
The jacket contains a six-lead configuration, and the shared shield serves as the common return without requiring an additional ground core. These conductors carry a single-ended encoder interface, matching transmitters that provide one logic signal per channel rather than complementary signal pairs. This arrangement reduces the number of required connector positions and simplifies the receiving circuitry. The product is categorized as a cable assembly, with the connector hardware and strain relief completed before delivery. Its prepared connector end and accessible conductors allow it to be routed between compatible encoder equipment and the control enclosure without additional cable assembly work.
