The Danaher 108595-0020 is part of the Dynapar Encoder Cables series and is designed as a cable assembly with a 6-lead configuration and 7-pin MS female connector for encoder side. It is compatible with H20, H58, and HS35 encoders, features flying leads on the non-encoder side, and uses 22AWG and 24AWG wire gauge. The cable supports single ended signals with open collector and push-pull outputs, and includes a mating connector.

Product Description:
The 108595-0020 cable is produced by Danaher as part of the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. Within an automation line, it serves as the dedicated link between a rotating encoder and downstream control electronics, carrying incremental channel information and supply lines in a single protected harness. The molded jacket and strain-relieved terminations simplify installation in motor housings, machine frames, or cable tracks while preserving the signal integrity needed for position feedback. The cable supports applications involving servomotors, indexing tables, and conveyors.
As a cable assembly, the unit is delivered preterminated to reduce on-site wiring, and its conductor set consists of six discrete leads that carry encoder channels and power. The encoder end terminates in a female MS connector with a threaded metal shell that locks to the mating sensor port and provides mechanical retention against vibration. The mating connector is included with the cable. The circular connector has seven positions, with one unused contact preserving the standard orientation key. The 22 AWG and 24 AWG conductors balance flexibility with acceptable voltage drop over typical machine cable lengths. Their sizes also accommodate the signal and supply functions required by the connected encoder.
The cable provides compatibility with H20, H58, and HS35 incremental encoders, allowing encoder housings with diameters from 2.0 to 3.5 inches to use the same lead set without adapter hardware. At the controller end, the sheath is stripped to expose flying leads that can be connected to screw terminals, solder lugs, or spring clamps according to panel requirements. The assembly carries quadrature information through a single-ended interface. Its conductors support open-collector switching as well as push-pull drivers without requiring cable changes. These electrical characteristics suit common PLC input modules that accept active-low sinking signals or active-high sourcing signals.
