The Danaher 108595-0005 is part of the Dynapar Encoder Cables series and is designed for use with H20, H58, and HS35 encoders. This cable is 5 feet long with a 7-pin MS female connector on the encoder side and flying leads on the non-encoder side. It handles single ended signals with open collector and push-pull output types, and uses 22 AWG and 24 AWG wire gauges.

Product Description:
The 108595-0005 is a pre-terminated feedback cable manufactured by Danaher within the Dynapar Encoder Cables series. It serves as an interconnect between incremental encoders and downstream counting, drive, or PLC modules in industrial automation lines. The factory-matched harness helps minimize field wiring errors and preserve signal integrity for motion axes that use H20, H58, or HS35 rotary encoders. Its terminated encoder end and unterminated control end support installations that require a dedicated encoder connection with flexible field-side wiring.
This assembly has a fixed length of 5 ft, which supports short cable runs inside protected control cabinets or operator stations. At the encoder end, a military-style mating plug has 7 pins, while 6 individual leads terminate on the control side. The unused pin can accommodate a shield drain or future channel expansion without altering the current conductor arrangement. Power and channel conductors use finely stranded copper in sizes of 22 AWG and 24 AWG, balancing current capacity with cable flexibility for routing around machine frames. The insulation system supports continuous conductor temperatures up to +105 °C, allowing the cable to be routed near warm motor or brake components without degrading its dielectric strength.
The jacket and insulation remain pliable at temperatures as low as -20 °C, supporting operation in cold environments. On the controller side, flying leads can be landed on terminal blocks, screw clamps, or solder pads as required by the connected hardware. The wiring supports open-collector and push-pull drivers, allowing the cable to work with either supported output configuration. Logic transitions are carried through a single-ended signal set for devices that do not use differential receivers. The sensor connection uses a female MS connector, which provides positive engagement at the encoder during operation. Its military-style shell also helps maintain a secure connection when the cable is exposed to vibration from nearby machinery.
