Product Description:
The 108594-0035 belongs to the Dynapar Encoder Cables series supplied by Danaher. It is an encoder interconnect that joins a feedback device to motion controllers or drive racks in industrial automation cells. The assembly is preterminated on the encoder side for direct connection to the transducer body, while the opposite end can be routed into terminal blocks or field-installed circular connectors. Using the series-matched cable minimizes signal loss and allows incremental or absolute position data to reach the control cabinet without custom crimping.
The cable is delivered with a mating connector already attached to one end, minimizing field wiring and keeping the pin orientation consistent with the intended connection layout. This end uses a female MS connector that screws onto a standard military-style receptacle mounted on compatible Dynapar housings. At the opposite end, the jacket terminates in flying leads, allowing connection to screw terminals, solder cups, or a customer-selected plug. Internal wiring is arranged for a 6-pin interface, while the required feedback and supply conductors provide a total of 5 leads for power, the A, B, and Z channels, and the common reference.
Each conductor is stripped and tinned so the strands accept solder or terminal-clamp pressure without additional preparation. A braided drain layer and foil wrap keep the assembly shielded, limiting electromagnetic interference from motors, contactors, and high-frequency drives that share the enclosure. The conductors carry single-ended signals, matching the TTL or HTL logic levels supported by many PLC encoder cards. Controlled impedance and capacitance help preserve signal edges and timing accuracy across the full cable length, while the preterminated design reduces the amount of wiring required at the encoder connection.
