Product Description:
The M.1017.3140 is an output module built by Danaher Automation to be used in automation systems. It is designed to convert a 16-bit digital word into a ±10 volts analogue signal for each of its four channels. The side field connector on this product unit is a 24 pin card edge connector with screw terminals, and operation resolution is about 16 bits or 65636 steps over its full output range. Voltage accuracy is about ±1 per cent of the full-scale range. The maximum output current is about 10 milliamperes with a 1 kilo-ohm resistor. After the installation and power up of this product unit, an output voltage of between 0 to 50 millivolt is to be expected. In the case of a scan loss, all outputs of the units are immediately set to 0 volts with a variation of ±50 millivolts.
The output unit of the M.1017.3140 is equipped with short circuit protection. Each unit of this product is maintenance-free; however, it is still necessary for the module to be used in environments that are free from extreme humidity, vibration, and temperature levels. Operators can easily determine the power, connection, and general operation status of the module using four LED indicators integrated into it. The module power requirement is about 200 milliamperes; this should be supplied from an external 24-volt Direct Current(DC) power supply source, although variations between 20 to 30 volts are allowed.
The M.1017.3140 is about 4.05 inches wide, 4.825 inches height and about 3 inches deep. Permissible vibration frequency is between 10 to about 57 hertz. A maximum shock level of about four shocks per axis is also allowed. This is according to <
