The 800-176 is one of Copley Control’s most definitive power amplifiers manufactured for three-phase brushless or brush-type motors. It is one of the most compact power amplifiers released by Copley Controls. By default, it comes without a housing and is intended to be used as an integral part of a larger system. Instead of employing an external chassis, the 800-176 needs to be part of a larger circuit or system where it can perform a specific function. Specifically, the 800-176 excels in power amplification and control of servo machines and motors. It includes several pin headers for establishing communication with other tools and electrical devices.
Power amplifiers are designed to take in low-magnitude signals and amplify them to a form sufficient enough to drive motors or other actuators. Usually, servomotors are driven by dedicated digital amplifiers or drives that come with a dedicated chassis.
