Copley Controls' AMP-090-36 is an advanced modern motion control solution with high-end features that are used for harsh industrial applications. This drive features flexible interfaces that are MACRO and RS-232 to easily install it into complicated systems. These interfaces include the MACRO interface for real-time and high-speed communication in controlling motion and the RS-232 interface for ease of configuration and monitoring. All these interfaces increase the drive's versatility to work in a wide range of industrial applications for improved operation and diagnostics.

The AMP-090-36 provides two operational modes; when in motion control mode it can control either torque or velocity as required. The Torque Mode is particularly helpful when the precise command of the rotational force is needed. The Velocity mode provides steady and easy-to-adjust velocity control. Together with incremental feedback systems using digital or analog encoders, the AMP-090-36 has an absolute feedback system utilizing SSI / EnDat / and the Absolute A systems, which offer high technological accuracy and flexibility for applications in demanding motion control systems.

For additional flexibility, high-speed digital inputs are provided as 10 channels and one Motemp general-purpose input for fast and accurate signals to control any complex task. Furthermore, 3 general-purpose digital outputs and 1 high-speed output also help to interface with other external devices and are suitable for complex control systems. The AMP-090-36 is ideal in applications where high accuracy, reliability, and scalability of motion control are critical for the industry.
