The AEP-090-18 is a configurable drive designed by Copley Controls. The drive is controlled using +20V to +90 VDC voltage inputs making it ideal for most power supply connections. The wide voltage range capability satisfies the demands of numerous industries and enhances the versatility of the drive. It also features an isolated power input through a transformer for safety and in severe industrial environments, it minimizes external interferences by ensuring that the drive is steady and reliable.
The drive has a 3-phase MOSFET inverter with a center-weighted PWM output of 16 KHz for control of the motor. This design helps to reduce motor noise and mechanical vibration and, therefore, enables higher accuracy in industrial applications, where fine and accurate motion is needed. A MOSFET inverter with 16 kHz center weighted PWM is effective in controlling the motor accurately as well as smoothly. It reduces motor noise and lowers vibration because of its high switching frequency.
