Product Description:

The model AEM-090-30 is a high performance DC servo drive designed and manufactured for precise motor control applications. It offers robust capabilities tailored to industrial automation needs to ensure reliability and efficiency.

This Accelnet series servo drive supports digital command inputs in a single ended format and utilizes programmable rising or falling edges for optimal control. The unit incorporates motor connections that include phase outputs, Hall sensors, encoders and brakes which work cohesively to ensure smooth motor operation. It features thermal sensors to monitor motor temperature and prevent overheating by shutting down the drive when needed. The servo drive supports quad A/B incremental encoders. The system integrates fault protected incremental encoders with differential line driver outputs to deliver incremental position feedback. This safeguards against short circuits and open circuit conditions. It also features low differential voltage detection to ensure accurate signal feedback over long cable runs. This servo drive prioritizes efficiency, safety and adaptability for diverse industrial environments.

The Copley Controls AEM-090-30 DC servo drive comes equipped with CAN Node-ID address switches through its Switch & LED Interface (SLI) port which facilitates node ID configuration and provides LED control for diagnostics. It supports extended input common mode voltage ranges that ensures robust operation even under challenging conditions. The encoder interface includes ± 15 kV ESD protection to enhance safety and reliability during high voltage events. This system includes a 121 terminator resistor that adds redundancy in detecting faults such as short circuits and open connections. The DC servo drive is a dependable solution for precision motion control applications with its high speed digital inputs, programmable control capabilities and comprehensive fault protection mechanisms.
