Product Description:

ADP-060-40 is a module designed for precise motion control, suitable for a lot of industrial automation applications. It supports communication through the CANopen Device Profile CiA 402 which makes it compatible with other devices within a CANopen network; also, its control modes, including Profile Position, Profile Velocity, Profile Torque, Interpolated Position (PVT), and Homing, provide flexible options for various tasks. The module features 12 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs to help with external device integration

The module allows simple controls with Step/Direction and CW/CCW Stepper commands up to a maximum rate of 2 MHz, plus it handles analog signals through ±10 Vdc differential inputs with a 5 kΩ impedance for torque, velocity, and position and its Rs-232 Port offers communications from 9,600 to 115,200 Baud and includes control with PWM frequencies ranging from 1 kHz minimum to 100 kHz maximum: All these make it a practical device for lots of needs; moreover, the multi-mode encoder counts at frequency through 5 M lines/sec, 20 M count/sec.

This device, weighing 0.94 lb (0.43 kg), requires either a heat sink or forced air cooling to keep the consistent output of power; regarding dimensions, its 6.58 in (167 mm) X 3.89 in (98.8 mm) X 1.17 in (29.7 mm) size make it easy to use; the module has an ambient operating temperature between 0 to +45°C, with a compliance to vibrations up to 2 g peak, 10~500 Hz, and it is able to withstand shocks of 10 g, 10 ms, so it can work well in a lot of different places.
