Product Description:
The ACP-180-18 digital servo amplifier engineered by Copley Controls comes with two status indicators in the form of bicolored LEDs. This amplifier must be free of humidity and condensation on its surface at any point in time. The product has an RS 232 serial port to facilitate the bidirectional flow of data to other amplifiers. This device portrays an operating temperature range of 0 degrees C to 45 degrees C. The unit is lightweight and has a compact design. Its status LEDs highlight the operating status with blinking and non-blinking conditions. This amplifier features forced air cooling for continuous power output.
The product comes with programmable digital input and output functions. This device is configured using the CME 2 software. The unit must be reset when a latching fault is encountered to resume its operation. Its general-purpose inputs work with 24 V sources. This amplifier uses its command inputs to execute position, velocity, or current command from an external controller when it operates in standalone mode. The product features programmable functions such as home switch, motor over-temperature, amplifier reset, and CAN address bits for its digital inputs. This device will resume operation only when a transient fault is removed. The unit depends on its digital outputs for powering a motor-mounted brake. Its fault can be programmed to either transient or latching.
This amplifier has a three-phase PWM inverter output. The product-related feedback and communications circuits are kept active by the AUX-HV input when the PWM output stage is disabled. This device features a storage temperature range of -40 degrees C to 85 degrees C. The unit supports velocity, current, and position digital control loops. Its power rating is based on the power that is delivered to the load by the amplifier. This digital servo amplifier has a 10 kOhms shunt resistor on all its digital inputs.
