Product Description:
The Copley Controls ACJ-090-09 DC servo drive is a versatile and reliable drive solution. It is designed to ensure precise control of DC servo motors. It offers robust features and high efficiency. This servo drive is ideal for industrial automation and motion control applications.
This ACJ-090-09 DC servo drive offers exceptional protection features including high voltage overvoltage and undervoltage protection at thresholds of + 56 Vdc and + 14 Vdc respectively. Over temperature protection activates when the heat plate exceeds 70 °C to ensure system safety. It incorporates short circuit protection to prevent damage caused by output faults such as ground or phase faults. The RS-232 communication port of the servo drive provides full duplex serial communication for setup and control with baud rates ranging from 9,600 to 115,200. It supports binary and ASCII protocols for seamless integration and configuration. The auxiliary high voltage input allows uninterrupted operation of control circuits even when the main HV supply is disabled during emergency shutdowns. The input draws no current when the drive’s HV voltage exceeds the AUX-HV voltage.
The Accelnet series servo drive’s mounting options include panel slots for 0° or 90° installation with cooling facilitated through conduction from the heat plate to the mounting surface or convection to ambient air. The motor connections support four types: phase, Halls, encoder and thermal sensor. The phase connections deliver drive output currents for motor motion while Hall signals provide absolute position feedback during commutation. Encoder signals offer incremental position feedback for velocity and position modes. A thermal sensor protects the motor by shutting down the drive in case of overtemperature. The model operates efficiently within the allowable voltage range while ensuring continuous feedback and fault monitoring.
