The VT-VSPA2-1-1X-T1-002 is a plug-in proportional amplifier card in the VT-VSPA Proportional Amplifiers series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is intended for installation in Eurocard control racks. The board translates low-level voltage references from a PLC or motion controller into regulated current for a proportional hydraulic valve, allowing closed-loop adjustment of spool position or pressure in automated machinery such as presses, injection molding lines, or test rigs. It is used where an electronic command must be converted into stable solenoid current for proportional valve actuation.

The board operates on a nominal voltage of 24 VDC and remains functional up to 35 V, while the lower operating limit is 22 V. The relays pick up when supply reaches 16.8 V, preserving control during brief brownouts. Steady draw stays below 2 A, and total power consumption is less than 50 VA, which eases cabinet power-supply sizing. The output stage can deliver 2.5 A, allowing direct drive of medium-size proportional solenoids. Setpoint channels 1 through 4 accept ±9 V, whereas channel 5 is limited to ±6 V. A fixed input load of 100 Ω prevents loading of upstream electronics, and an adjustable ramp time setting of 1 smooths current transitions to avoid hydraulic shock.

The board has a card size of 100 × 160 mm, so it fits standard 3U Eurocard guides. The module weighs 0.13 kg, which helps keep rack loading low in multi-card assemblies. All signals and power lines enter through a 32-pin DIN 41612 Form D connector, eliminating point-to-point wiring inside the cabinet. The differential input stage presents a 100 kΩ input resistance, minimizing bias currents and reducing noise pickup over long cable runs. For fault isolation, a 3.15 AT fuse is mounted on the card and interrupts the supply when abnormal current persists.
