The VT-VSPA1K-1-1X-002-60SEC is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s highly functional valve amplifier for its hydraulic and electrical systems. Like others in the series, it is designed to control direct and pilot-operated proportional directional pressure control valves without electrical position feedback. Its ramp generator can be adjusted separately for upwards and downwards directions, and it utilizes a differential input that can be switched from voltage to current input. The operation of this valve amplifier requires a nominal voltage of 24V DC with an allowance between +40% and – 5%. It has one solenoid as actuating element and a ramp time setting of 30 ms to approximately 1 second or 5 seconds.
Designed as a 100m wide and 160mm long Eurocard printed circuit board according to DIN 41494, the VT-VSPA1K-1-1X-002-60SEC is sturdy and highly durable. It uses a 16-pole terminal strip connector. LEDs are also present in this valve amplifier to inform users of the device’s operation in real-time and aid fault identification and resolution. Some of the inbuilt protective features of this model are cable break detection for current input 4 to 20 mA and reverse polarity protection for voltage supply. The reverse polarity feature ensures that reverse voltage application at its input or output terminals will not damage it.
