The VT-VSPA1-508-10/V0/RTP is a plug-in proportional amplifier card manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-VSPA Proportional Amplifiers series. By translating voltage commands from a PLC or analog potentiometer into a controlled coil current, the card regulates a proportional hydraulic valve so that flow or pressure follows an electrical reference. It fits a 7 TE front plate, and the compact board profile permits dense packing in industrial automation racks where space and service access are limited.

The electronics operate from a nominal bus of 24 VDC; this low-voltage supply simplifies cabinet wiring and matches common machine power rails. Internal conversion stages limit apparent input draw to a maximum of 30 VA, helping with the correct sizing of cabinet power supplies and fuses. When energized, the output channel can deliver up to 0.8 A to the valve solenoid, providing enough magnetizing force for most NG6 and NG10 proportional spools. A programmable ramp generator extends or retracts the drive current, and its full disengagement ramp time is fixed at 50 ms, minimizing hydraulic shock when a rapid stop is requested. The printed circuit measures 160 mm from the backplane connector to the card edge, matching the standardized Eurocard length used in many Rexroth servo and motion controllers.

The drive path tolerates field wiring up to 60 m between the rack and the valve coil, allowing the power stage to remain in a protected enclosure while the actuator resides on the machine. All signals and power are routed through a DIN 41612-F32 plug, allowing the card to be disconnected without disturbing screw terminals. Under peak modulation, the assembly draws no more than 1.25 A from the system supply, so thermal rise on the narrow front plate remains low. The fully populated board and shielding hardware weigh only 0.32 kg, reducing the mechanical load on the card cage and simplifying handling during maintenance.
