By converting low-level control voltages from a PLC into a stabilized output for the valve solenoid, the amplifier becomes the interface that links electronic command logic with fluid-power actuators. This arrangement is useful in hydraulic systems that need smooth modulation rather than simple on-and-off valve switching.
