The VT-MRPA2-1-13/V0/0 proportional amplifier is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-VSPA Proportional Amplifiers series. The module is installed inside a machine panel and connects to low-level command signals from a PLC. It converts those command voltages into controlled solenoid current for compatible hydraulic valves. This current control allows the motion of a hydraulic cylinder or motor to vary smoothly during automated production.

The input stage accepts a 0 to ±10 V reference signal, providing the full range required for bidirectional valve control. The circuitry operates from 24 VDC (+40%/-20%), allowing continued operation during moderate bus fluctuations. Internally generated dither operates at 5.6 kHz ±10%, helping minimize static friction in the valve spool without producing audible noise. An input impedance of >50 kΩ places negligible load on upstream analog cards. The amplifier has an IP20 protection rating, so it must be installed in an enclosure that protects it from conductive dust and liquid ingress. The enable terminal recognizes voltages of 8.5 V or higher as a run command, while the operating limits of 18 V and 35 V protect against undervoltage and incorrect power connections. Twelve screw terminals simplify wiring, and the TH 35-7.5 rail clip permits tool-free installation and removal. Maximum apparent power consumption remains below 24 VA, which limits heat generation inside the panel.

Total board current remains below 2 A, so standard 2.5 mm² cabinet conductors are sufficient. The compact housing measures 40 × 79 × 85.5 mm, allowing high-density installation alongside other valve electronics. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 to +50 °C, while nonoperating storage is permitted from -25 °C to +70 °C without performance loss. With a mass of only 0.14 kg, the module places minimal load on the mounting rail and remains suitable for panels exposed to vibration from press, molding, and forming equipment.
