The VT-UK2-3X/ES-E24-A005/U30 is a universal interface card from Bosch Rexroth Indramat’s VT-UK2 Universal Cards series. Installed in modular automation racks, the board conditions low-level sensor or command signals so they can be processed by hydraulic drive controllers or PLC analog inputs. Its circuitry provides gain, buffering, and offset trimming, allowing field devices with differing output characteristics to share a common electrical reference inside an Indramat control cabinet. Occupying a single rack position also simplifies wiring routes, improves service access, and keeps adjacent modules easier to reach inside the control cabinet.

The card is powered by a regulated 10 V supply and reproduces the conditioned signal at an equal 10 V output, keeping scaling symmetrical between reference and command paths. The card has a source capability of 5 mA, which is adequate for the high-impedance analog stages used in Rexroth controllers. Signal processing is carried out by three double operational amplifiers, and each section can be set for differential gain or unity-gain buffering. Fine adjustment is provided by 5 potentiometers, enabling on-site trimming of offset and span. All terminations use soldered junctions to maintain continuity under vibration.

Mechanically, the board follows the Eurocard format with a front-panel height of 100 mm and a depth of 160 mm. Compliance with DIN 41494 ensures that guide rails, ejectors, and locking levers align with common 3U subracks. All signal lines are presented on a DIN 41612 edge connector, allowing direct backplane mating inside standardized cabinets. These dimensions and connector types allow the card to slide into existing automation chassis without custom adapters while maintaining secure seating and consistent contact resistance across the backplane connection.
