The HNC series of digital axis controllers by the company are programmable NC control units used for closed-loop controlled axes in hydraulics. The VT-HNC100-1-1X/160 is a digital axis controller in the HNC100 family used for different control functions in one hydraulic axis. It can be applied across different areas, including machine tools, plastics processing machines, special machines, presses, transfer lines, and rail-bound vehicles. Different methods can be used to program this digital axis controller, such as a PC, local CAN bus, own NC programs, and NC language with subprogram technique and conditional jumps. It also supports the IndraWorks software by Bosch Rexroth, with which it can be parameterized and commissioned. Additionally, the software tool can be used for fault identification and resolution.

When additional interfaces are added, higher-level control functions can be carried out with the VT-HNC100-1-1X/160. These include analog signals, digital inputs/outputs, serial interfaces, and field bus systems. The digital axis controller is modular in design and can easily be mounted within control cabinets. According to EN 60529, it belongs to the IP 20 protection class, meaning that it is impervious to solid external objects of 12mm or more. It is also designed to be used in harsh industrial conditions and can withstand interference, mechanical vibration, shock, and climate changes. The nominal voltage for its operation is 24V DC. It follows the guidelines of the EC directives on electromagnetic compatibility and applied harmonized standards.
