The Bosch VT-HNC100-1-1X/132/3 is a digital axis control. It is designed for industrial closed-loop applications. Applications areas for the digital control include transfer lines, presses, machine tools, rail-bound machines, plastics processing machines and special machines. When used as a pressure/force controller, its features include PIDT1-controller, differential pressure evaluation, and own scanning rate. When used as a position controller, the features of the VT-HNC100-1-1X/132/3 include PIDT1 controller, linear gain characteristic curve, zero point voltage principle, state feedback, command value feedforward, fine positioning, direction-dependent gain adjustment, and limitation of control output via the NC program. When used as a velocity controller, the functions supported by the control include PI-controller. The VT-HNC100-1-1X/132/3 supports monitoring functions such as dynamic following error monitoring, cable break monitoring for sensors and cable break monitoring for encoders.

Operating voltage for the VT-HNC100-1-1X/132/3 digital axis control is 18 to 36 Volts DC. An integrated RS-232 serial interface supports 9.6 kilobaud. This serial interface allows interfacing with a computer with the WIN-PED programming software. Features of the programming software include NC editor with syntax check and program compiler, dialog functions for on-line or off-line machine date setting, recoding and graphical representation of up to four process variable via selection of trigger options and comprehensive options for display of process data, digital input, outputs and flags. The programming software is available for free download from the Bosch website. It requires a PC with Windows 7/Windows NT operating system, minimum 8 Megabytes RAM and 10 Megabytes fixed storage space. Working temperature range for the VT-HNC100-1-1X/132/3 is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. Unused digital controls can be kept in storage with -20 to 70 degrees Celsius ambient temperature.
