~ Brian Tomlin Excellent Arizona, USAThe VT 3000 20 is part of the VT-3000 Series manufactured by Indramat Rexroth Bosch. It is a proportional valve amplifier card that is used for controlling proportional valves. This is achieved by proportionately converting an input voltage signal into an output current in order to power proportional solenoids. The features of the valve amplifier card include a series of 20 along with an operating voltage of 24 VDC + or - 10 %. The ramp time and connection type features are both factory assigned.
To assure safety, optimum performance, and the highest stability, there are various engineering notes, maintenance instructions, or additional information that you should follow. You can only pug in or unplug the proportional valve amplifier card when switched off. When connecting the solenoids, you should not use plugs that have LED displays or freewheel diodes. The measurements must only be carried out on the VT 3000 20 with instruments R > 100 KΩ! You should not connect MO (measuring zero) to 0V operating voltage!
You should use relays that have gold contacts (small currents & voltages) when switching command valves. If you want to switch card relays, only use contacts that have a loading ability of approximately 40 V, 50 Ma. The minimum distance of the VT 3000 20 to the radar equipment, radio sources or aerial lines should be a minimum of 1 m. You must not lay signal lines and solenoid near power lines. It is of importance to note that when using the differential input, you must switch both inputs 'on' or 'off' at the same time. Also, remember to screen command value lines, connect screen on the side of the card to 0 V and leave the other side open.
