Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactured the VT-2000-A52. To provide long-term operation and interoperability with industrial automation systems the VT-2000-A52 proportional amplifier relies on a well-defined electrical specification. Although the amplifier can tolerate a wide range of 22VDC to 35VDC (+40% to -5%), the fundamental supply voltage is 24VDC. This tolerance is wide enough to account for the power supply fluctuations that are common in industrial environments. By allowing these variations without compromising performance, circuit stress and failures due to voltage or thermal derating can be avoided. By keeping internal signal processing and power regulation circuits within their specified ranges, the design flexibility improves reliability and prevents errors due to low voltage or over-voltage stress on sensitive components. Keeping input conditions steady further increases the amplifier and its peripherals life time. The VT-2000-A52 power consumption is tuned for thermal stability and energy efficiency.
