Product Description:
The VT 2240 proportional amplifier produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is an electronic amplifier. This amplifier has a Eurocard format. The product is used in hydraulic and industrial automation applications in hydraulic systems. This accessory processes the electrical signals to control hydraulic components. The unit is operated with proportional hydraulic valves. It controls the direction and flow rate of hydraulic fluid with precision. This amplifier also controls the speed, force, and position of actuators in machinery.
The product features the integration of a voltage stabilizer to offer a steady voltage for consistent performance. This accessory delivers safe operator control by limiting the maximum input command voltage signals with an integrated potentiometer. The unit encompasses a 10 V differential input to interface with microprocessors or programmable controllers. It is compatible with selected single-card and double-card holders. This card has an input control voltage of +/-9 V and a power supply voltage of 24 VDC with a tolerance of +/-10%. The product design needs a space requirement of 7 divisions on the component side and one division on the conductor side. This accessory supports a minimum input load of greater than or equal to 500 Ohms. The unit facilitates independent control with separately adjustable up and down ramp times. It converts an input voltage signal into a proportional output current to power proportional solenoids.
This proportional amplifier’s connection and/or disconnection is permitted only after the power is switched off. The product’s power wires and solenoid wires must be routed separately. This accessory’s control voltage wires have to be shielded. The unit features minimum and maximum output current ratings of 100 mA and 800 mA respectively. Its ambient temperature is set from 0 °C to 50 °C.
