Product Description:
The VT 2000S4X-E1 is a proportional amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 2000 Proportional Amplifiers series. It conditions low-level command signals and converts them into controlled solenoid current so hydraulic valves track electronic set points in industrial automation systems. The Eurocard format lets the module slide into centralized control racks where it interfaces with valve coils and feedback circuits, and the design focuses on repeatable current regulation and compact installation inside machine enclosures.
The board operates from a nominal 24 VDC supply, with a functional range from 22 V to 35 V, and it is protected by a 2.5 A time-lag fuse. Maximum draw on the supply lines is 1 A maximum, which is compatible with use in ventilated cabinets. Physical dimensions of 100 × 160 mm comply with IEC 60297 sub-racks, and connection is through a 32-pin DIN 41612 Form D backplane header. The current feedback test point follows a 1 mV/mA scale, giving direct scope readings without conversion. The power stage can supply up to 800 mA to the valve coil, provided the solenoid resistance is 19.5 Ω at 20 °C. A 100 kΩ input impedance on channel two helps prevent loading of upstream controllers.
Total energy demand remains below 25 VA maximum, allowing the amplifier to share low-capacity power supplies with other control cards. Internally generated ±9 V rails stabilize the analog circuitry, while the auxiliary regulator offers a 25 mA load output for external sensors. The W socket features a 1 kΩ impedance that helps isolate diagnostic equipment from the main loop. Upper and lower supply thresholds of 35 V and 22 V help protect the card from transient overvoltage or brownout conditions. At only 0.1 kg, the module adds very little mechanical load to the rack and is easy to handle during installation.
