The VT 2000 S2X-E is a plug-in proportional amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 2000 Proportional Amplifiers series. Installed in a hydraulic control rack, the card converts low-level command voltages into controlled coil currents so that directional or pressure valves can follow an analog reference with repeatable accuracy. By conditioning the input signal and regulating output current, it allows machine controllers to move away from purely on/off hydraulics toward continuously variable motion and force profiles in automated equipment.
The board follows the Eurocard format with overall dimensions of 100 × 160 mm, and it plugs into a backplane through a 32-pin male connector. The normal supply is 24 VDC; at this level, the electronics draw less than 1 A and the total power demand stays below 25 VA, which helps limit panel heat generation.
