The VT 2000 S-K proportional amplifier card is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 2000 Proportional Amplifiers series. Installed on a 3-U Eurocard, the module translates low-power command signals into regulated solenoid current so that hydraulic valves follow the desired reference in automated presses, injection machines, and test stands. By controlling current rather than voltage, the card improves valve repeatability, compensates for coil resistance changes, and isolates the PLC from the inductive load.
The card operates from a nominal 24 VDC supply, with acceptable limits between 22 V and 35 V, so control cabinets can tolerate moderate line variation. Internally, a ±9 V reference rail supports the analog circuitry while a slow-blow fuse rated at 2.5 A T protects the board from short-term faults. Solenoid drive capability reaches 800 mA; combined with the specified 19.5 Ω coil resistance, this allows proportional valves up to 15.6 W.
