The VT 2000 S 45 is a proportional amplifier card manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 2000 Proportional Amplifiers series. Installed in hydraulic control cabinets, it converts low-level command voltages from a PLC into regulated coil current for directional or pressure valves, helping keep spool position stable as system pressure changes. That arrangement is useful in hydraulic systems where pressure changes can disturb spool movement if the solenoid current is not controlled accurately. Its Eurocard format matches a 100 mm board height, and the layout allows front access to adjustments when the rack door is open.
The module is powered from a nominal 24 VDC supply and remains functional from the 22 V lower limit through the permitted operating range. Internally it draws less than 1 A and consumes less than 25 VA, which helps limit heat inside the panel. A full-scale command input of +6 V is converted into a maximum solenoid current of 800 mA, and the monitor test point outputs 800 mV at that level for direct measurement.
