This amplifier converts an input voltage signal to output current to power a solenoid. Based on the total current to the solenoid the force on the valve is varied, thus increasing or decreasing the pressure.
The card is powered by the input voltage from the power supply on the pins 18 ac or 24 ac, and it is fed through a regulator which suppresses, filters, and smoothes the input voltage and then distribute 18 V outputs to the 10 ac and 14 ac pins with a reference potential measured zero on the pin 14 ac. From these pins the +9 volts may be manipulated via simple potentiometer, dry circuit relays and reed switches etc and then used as a command input signal to the amplifier at pin 12 ac.

Consistent performance of the VT 2000 S 43 is ensured via voltage stabilizer that provides constant voltage. It has an integrated potentiometer for limiting input command voltage signals. The ramp generators of the VT 2000 S 43 control various pressure levels. Its ramp times can be externally adjusted with potentiometers. Each ramp of the VT 2000 S 43 may be switched off to enable ramps to function independently. Based on the total current supplied to the solenoid, the force on the pilot poppet is varied thereby increasing pressure or decreasing it. The VT 2000 S 43 has a 100 Hz / 200 Hz oscillator which allows optimal performance of the valve.
