Product Description:
The VT 2000-52-B is a proportional amplifier card built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 2000 Proportional Amplifiers series. Mounted in a Eurocard rack, it converts a low-level command from a PLC into a regulated solenoid current. This controlled output allows hydraulic valves to follow electronic setpoints for force, pressure, or speed in automated equipment.
The input stage presents a differential impedance of 100 kΩ, so analog signal sources are lightly loaded even with long cable runs. Supply power is taken from a 24 VDC bus with a +40/-5% tolerance, and internal regulation produces ±9 V with a ±1% tolerance for the signal-processing circuits. The solenoid drive peaks at 800 mA with a +10/-5% tolerance, matching coils with a resistance of 19.5 Ω at 20 °C. A current-monitor socket produces 800 mV when the solenoid current reaches its peak level. For diagnostic measurements, the command-monitor pin provides 6 V at 100% input demand, while the load-side monitor delivers ±25 mA. Continuous current draw from the rack backplane remains below 1 A, which helps limit heat generation inside the enclosure. Field wiring terminates through a 32-pin DIN 41612 Form D connector that also carries logic references and test-point signals.
The printed circuit board follows the 100 × 160 mm Eurocard format and has a front panel measuring 128.4 mm high and 5.08 mm wide. This format allows the card to slide into standard guide rails within a compatible rack. Its total mass is 0.1 kg, minimizing the mechanical load placed on the rack during vibration. Power dissipation is limited to less than 25 VA, reducing heat buildup around adjacent electronic modules. An onboard blade fuse rated at 2.5 A, time-delay interrupts overcurrent faults before the circuit traces or solenoid wiring sustain damage. Unobstructed card-edge ventilation allows heat to escape while the regulated circuitry maintains stable output current during full-stroke operating cycles.
