The VT-2000-51a is a plug-in proportional amplifier card manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the VT 2000 Proportional Amplifiers series. The board fits into standard industrial control racks, allowing it to connect directly to compatible rack wiring and power circuits. It supplies controlled current to a hydraulic valve solenoid so the valve responds to analog command voltages from a PLC or motion controller. This current control allows the connected proportional valve to adjust hydraulic flow or pressure in response to changes in the command signal.
The card operates at 24 VDC and maintains proper function when the supply remains between 22 V and 35 V. Input channel 2 has a resistance of 100 kΩ, minimizing the electrical load placed on upstream signal sources.
