Mounted in a standardized plug-in frame, the card interfaces between a low-level control signal and the field solenoid of a hydraulic valve. It converts voltage references into stable coil current so that flow or pressure can be adjusted with repeatable accuracy in automated machinery.
The card normally operates from a nominal 24 VDC source. Built-in tolerances permit continuous operation from the 22 V lower threshold to the 35 V upper threshold, preventing nuisance trips during line dips or surges. A time-delay 2.5 A T fuse on the card edge limits fault energy and protects the board’s low-impedance outputs. The card has Eurocard dimensions of 100 × 160 mm, and all command, feedback, and power leads terminate on a single 32-pin male connector to simplify rack wiring.
