Product Description
The VT-2000 is an Analog Electronic Amplifier Card that operates as a proportional power amplifier. The Rexroth Hydraulics product features a voltage stabilizer that renders a constant voltage supply for consistent performance. The unit has +/-9V input control voltage and 30W power rating. It also houses a ramp generator to control the rate of increase or decrease in pressure. The accessory includes a coil resistance of a maximum output load of 19.5 Ohms and a pulse frequency of 100/200Hz. The maximum current that flows through the card can be adjusted to the desired value with the help of a potentiometer that is located on the front panel.
The up and down ramp times of the amplifier card can be adjusted separately for independent control. The card is capable of powering a proportional solenoid by converting an input voltage signal into output current proportionately. The accessory also protects the solenoid cable from a short circuit. Additionally, it offers reverse polarity protection for the voltage supply. The Euro-card format unit has 100 x 160mm height and supports DIN mounting. It has a 10V differential amplifier input that serves as an interface for computers, microprocessors or programmable controllers.
The amplifier card supports connectivity using a 32-pin male connector. The power supply must be turned off before disconnecting or connecting the card. The solenoid wires of the unit must not operate near the power cables. After connecting the inputs and outputs of the unit, the bias current and maximum current can be set if needed using two different potentiometers. The ramp generator present in the card transfers a stepped input signal into an output signal that increases slowly over some time. The open-loop electronic amplifier is a good choice for axial piston units that are used in stationary applications. It is compatible with 3u single and 6u double tier card racks.
