The VSP40.1DEE-512NN-C1C-AN-NN-FW is a panel-mounted industrial PC terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a member of the VSP IndraControl Terminals series. Serving as a combined visualization node and control interface, the unit links machine-level inputs with higher-level automation networks and presents process data on an integrated display for operator interaction. It is intended for use at machine stations where local display and user input need to be combined in one front-mounted unit.

At the front, the terminal carries a 15 in TFT panel that renders graphics at 1024 × 768 px, giving operators clear status feedback. Touch input is available, so commands are registered directly on the glass without external pointing devices. A Celeron processor works with 512 MB of RAM to run visualization software and related control tasks. When expansion is required, the backplane exposes 6 PCI slots for fieldbus cards, frame grabbers, or specialty I/O. Network connectivity is provided through an RJ45 10/100 Base-T interface, allowing the VSP node to exchange tags with PLCs or SCADA hosts over standard Ethernet. The design omits an optical drive, which removes optical media as a contamination path in dusty production areas.

The aluminum front panel carries an ingress rating of IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot reach the electronics, while the rear PC box remains open with IP00 for cabinet ventilation. The bezel measures 407 mm in width and 370 mm in height, and the assembly projects 217 mm behind the mounting surface. A 3.5 in internal bay accepts a rotating hard disk when bulk storage is needed. External peripherals, maintenance keys, or backup sticks can be attached through 2 USB ports on the front edge. This layout lets the terminal sit flush in machine doors while preserving the sealed front during routine washdowns.
