The VSP40.1DEE-1G0NN-C1C-AN-NN-FW operator terminal is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VSP IndraControl Terminals series. It combines an industrial PC and a touchscreen panel to provide a human-machine interface for production lines, packaging cells, and machine-mounted motion-control stations. By embedding processing, visualization, and field communication in a single enclosure, the unit supports real-time supervision of drive status, process variables, and diagnostic messages in automated equipment.
At the core of the terminal is a 2 GHz Celeron processor that executes visualization tasks and fieldbus drivers without external controllers. The CPU works with 1 GB of DDR memory, which supports recipe storage and short-term buffering of production data. Graphical output appears on a 15 in TFT panel, and its native resolution of 1024 × 768 keeps object proportions consistent between engineering software and the machine screen. Ethernet connectivity is provided through one RJ45 10/100 Base-T port, enabling PLC communication or remote diagnostics over a plant network. Six PCI slots inside the IP00 PC box accept motion cards, fieldbus adapters, or extra I/O. Dual USB Type A connectors simplify data logging or local file transfer, while a 9-pin RS232 interface remains available for legacy devices. The on-board graphics controller uses 8 MB of video memory.
Operator interaction is through the resistive touch screen, and the front panel carries IP65 protection so liquid splashes or dust do not affect the keys or glass surface. Behind the panel, the graphics controller supports 256,000 colors, allowing clear trend curves and alarm icons on the display. The electronics draw power from a 115/230 V AC supply and do not exceed 250 W at full processor and backlight load, which helps with cabinet thermal planning. Because the computer chassis is rated IP00, adequate airflow must be provided inside the control cabinet, while the sealed display zone allows the surface to be cleaned without opening the housing.
