Product Description:
The VSP16.3DBG-1G0NN-C2D-DE-NN-FW terminal is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VSP IndraControl Terminals series. It is an industrial panel PC that merges computation, networking, and graphical output so machine builders can run visualization, diagnostics, and parameter entry right on the cabinet door. By hosting the control software locally, the unit eliminates a separate workstation and lets operators interact with drives, I/O, and safety functions from a single touch interface.
Processing is handled by a Celeron 440, 2 GHz CPU that supports real-time control tasks and embedded visualization. The operating system and project files reside in 1 GB of application memory, while log files are stored on an 80 GB hard disk. Two independent Gigabit controllers provide 2 × 1 Gbit/s Ethernet for segmented plant networks or redundant ring topologies. Graphics are rendered at a native 800 × 600 resolution, which is suitable for OEM screens designed in IndraWorks. Five conventional PCI slots and one PCIe x1 slot accept fieldbus, motion, or frame-grabber cards, and the electronics draw 200 W of input power when all expansion modules are populated.
The visualization is shown on a 12" TFT panel that reproduces process graphics in 256,000 colors and accepts commands through a resistive touch screen, removing the need for external keyboards. Users can connect programming keys, barcode scanners, or data sticks at the front via 8 USB 2.0 ports, while a laptop can interface through a single RS-232 port. A DVD recorder enables system backups without network access, and the internal power supplies are fed from a 24 VDC control circuit so the terminal remains active when the mains side is isolated during lockout procedures.
