The unit delivers the processing, communication, and storage resources needed to coordinate drive controllers, operator panels, and plant networks in automated production cells. Mounted inside a control cabinet, it provides a dedicated computing core that links motion hardware and supervisory systems so that deterministic machine sequences and real-time data exchange remain synchronized.

Its electronics operate from a single 24 V DC supply, and the chassis measures 364 x 146 x 239 mm, which fits standard enclosure depths while keeping the unit weight at 6 kg. Data integrity is supported by a mirrored array of 2.5" 80 GB (2× 80 GB, RAID1), and a DVD±RW drive supports software loading or backup.
